The Temple of Pure Water

The Path to Kiyomizu Shrine

The Path to Kiyomizu Shrine

As part of the Orientation week, the school arranged for local students to partner up with the exchange students and take them on a tour of Kyoto and Kiyomizu Dera; The Temple of Pure Water. In my group of 7, we partnered up with 4 local students and travelled to Kyoto by train.

Kiyomizu Temple is simply breath taking and I took some 60+ photos. The temple is situated high in the mountains with magnificent views of Kyoto. The walk through temple was relatively short, but filled with endless stops for photo opportunities.  This post will not be too long as the pictures simply speak for themselves.
