Cars of Japan: The Nissan GTR

Being my favourite car in the world, I managed to capture quite a few shots of the legendary car throughout Japan. The Nissan GTR is the successor to a storied series of cars called the Skyline. Although the GTR has now dropped the Skyline moniker, it is nonetheless a worthy successor and one that truly embodies the racing and tuning heritage of Nissan. Unanimously loved by critics, journalist and enthusiast, the GTR is a pure sports car with a hand-built VR38DETT twin turbo V6 engine producing anywhere from 480+ horsepower. And there is no better place to witness the GTR than in Japan. Hearing it screaming down the streets of Kyoto or surreptitiously parked on the side of the street, the GTR is just show stopping. I hope you like the car as much as I do or at the very least enjoy my pictures of the car that is the best of Japanese auto craftsmanship.
